Sean Ocean is a Live Act, DJ, and producer now living in Utrecht, Netherlands, after moving from San Francisco, California. He has formerly been a deep part of the Northern California Techno community for more than 25 years, with experience as a promoter, soundsystem owner-operator, and music writer. He has been a follower at the birth of the techno scene in SF and has watched it grow and helped to mold it through his promotions outfit DEFSF. As a new live act, DJ and Producer in the Netherlands in 2026, this marks the beginning of a whole new chapter for him and how he relates to the world of techno at large.
Techno is a mainstay in Sean’s life, granted, but also look out for and follow his electro side project Orange & Ecru.
